oh wow! i have another tale for you. i woke up the other night and couldn't find the clones or cats. so i went all over the house and looked outside as i kept hearing pop, pop, pop. sure enough they were all out in the road jumping up and down on my bubble paper that i had to wrap packages for work. then i found they had knocked out my bedroom screen. it took me 3 hours to get all the clones and cats back in the house. now i have to keep the window just cracked or they get out. heck i couldn't get baby tripp back in the house so the fool tried to jump back in the window he got out of. so i had to open the window and shut everyone else out of the bedroom so i could keep them all in. yuck i was so upset and H got to sleep by me so i could calm down. sigh that was nice.. later kiddos. Omigosh, furrymom, you were actually HERDING CATS! Did you get any of the snow that's been dumping on the East Coast? I heard that some of it got as far south as Florida.

I think we've been trading weather, furrymom -- it's actually crept up to 50 F here for a few hours! It was fun, but I see from the forecast that you're sending our frigid air back, so the warm stuff should show up at your place soon.
How's Jake doing? Are they still in Italy?

How's Jake doing? Are they still in Italy? hey kiddo jake and shelly are in miami and i'm hiding from them. i don't want them to know i'm sick and showing up here. shelly is finally feeling alot better and they are talking about going to long island ny. why i'm not sure and where i'm not sure. i just hope they wait for a few more weeks until it gets warmer. these stinken kittens are making me crazy. if i had more time to think about it i could make another clone joke, but i don't feel like it. friday night i had the bedroom window cracked open a bit as it has been real nice and warm. i think only 2 inches. so saturday morning i found the screen out and the widow open about 9 or10 inches. all 3 of the cats were in the house, but they could have gone out and jumped back in. it scared me because i don't want one of the wilder animals around here to hurt them. i am getting finger locks to keep the window down to about an inch or so. i love the fresh air. i just found one of the locks so i guess i can have some air tonight. i was hoping i could lose some weight since i didn't feel like eating but that hasn't happened. i started eating like mad on friday and kept it up the rest of the weekend. my biggest comfort food believe it or not is hot dogs. with bread or none, with catsup, mayo and mustard. so i ran out of bread and catsup. so i was just dipping them in mustard and mayo tonight. it sounds terrible. saturday i had to drive over to a dr office and after i left i went into a vegy market and found a beautiful small head of cabbage and a couple sweet potatoes that were about 15 inches long. i had never seen them before as they are red. cool. so i came home and cut the cabbage up, put some ham i bought on the same trip and one of the large sweet taters in the crock pot and went back to bed. when i got up i found i forgot to turn on the crock pot. man was i a little upset at myself. so i cooked it on high for 4 hours. that is what i ate the rest of yesterday and all day todays along with hot dogs tonight. so i was good and bad. well i guess i had better go and get some sleep as i'm worn out. oh yeah remember all those plans i had for doing house work this week end. gone and not done. well gotta go.. You're making me hungry. That's the problem with not eating because you feel lousy, you're also not moving around much because you feel lousy, and it evens out. Glad to hear you're well enough to be eating again, though. It's kind of weird that the kitties are suddenly zooming through windows -- or have you had the windows closed all winter? Maybe if you know someone whose kids recently grew past the "getting into and out of everything" stage, you could borrow/buy their kid-proofing doodads instead of having to buy everything full price. That's assuming kids ever actually grow out of that stage, of course. I know cats never do. One of my cats once got into a low cupboard and discovered a sack of flour that had a little hole on it, so she spent hours patting the sack to make it puff flour. By the time I got home and discovered her, she was totally white and purring like a diesel engine. Glad to hear Shelly's feeling better! Wish you'd give in and let the girls cosset you a little -- next time the cats get out, why don't you call them and have them chase the little buggers down? Okay, I know why you won't, but it would be fun to watch. Guess we'll just have to imagine it. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who's ignoring housework. And I don't even have your excuse.

Poor baby! Are your cats doing their catly duty and cuddling up to give you comfort? Are your clones doing their clonely duty and (use your imagination here, this is a PG board)? At the very least, Horatio should be holding your hand and giving you sympathetic looks, and offering a fluffy towel or two!
