CSI: NY Season Finale Theories!

But knowing us, we crave them.


I just read on CSIFiles that on the season finale of CSI: NY, in the first 20 minutes, one of "the family" is going to die.

So now the theories arise, as to who, and why.

My top bets are on Adam or Sid at the moment; I would HATE to see either leave though. My mom suggested Stella and Flack, but I said that there's no way that they would leave.

And Danny and Lindsey can't die due to their child.

So now we wait, and conspirorize.

I was discussing this with some people last night. I don't watch NY too much, but I could definitely see something happening like, Lindsay has her baby, and then she's killed, leaving Danny alone with a child to raise, and lots and lots of drama.

: / That was my theory. I highly doubt it'll be Mac, Stella, Danny, or Flack. I could see it being Hawkes, Sid or Adam which is sad because out of the whole cast they're probably my favourite three.

But also, I wonder if by "family" they mean the team, since in these shows they often think of their team as family, or family in the literal sense. With Lindsay, I think it could be taken both ways. Family because her and Danny are having a baby, (and aren't they getting married?), but family to the rest of the team because Lindsay is part of them too.

I think it means "Family" as in the whole team. I loved Linds at first, but lately her actress has just gone really, really downhill in her acting skills. It's quite depressing. I think they're getting married next week. Danny's going to be SUCH a great father!

I don't think it will be Adam. A.J. Ross just worked his way up the ladder to get where he is! Same with Sid! Besides, Sid is our dark humour!

So, yes. I'm going to have to go with it being Hawkes on this one. I like him, but he's the most likely to go, next to Linds.

Who knows? Maybe it will be Det. Jessica Angell?

Personally, I'm seeing it as Hawkes or Lindsay because:

A.) Hawkes hasn't REALLY gotten any good story-lines these days, has he? I mean, there was that one episode in the beginning, but other than that, he hasn't really been in the limelight in that show for a long time. It's sad to think that he could be the one that departs, but... I guess beggars can't be choosers.

B.) Lindsay. I don't know. I loved her at first, especially her friendship relationship with Mac, but now I just do not really enjoy her character on screen. PLUS it would make for some dang good drama if she was killed AFTER she got married. Although...

(SPOILERS) I read that I think they might die during a hostage thing-turned-cop killer idea. (END SPOILERS)

So... yeah. That's my idea on it. Then again, I was wrong with Alexx. Who knows what else I could completely mess up on?

I'm thinking it's gonna be Angell. She's sort of part of the "family" and she hasn't been in the show that much this season. So maybe instead of totally dropping the character they kill her for some drama! I'd watch that! My money is on Angell... and the fact that I don't really like her soooo....

I agree, Shiny. Hawkes has just been put on the back burner lately...and Lindsey used to have SUCH good chemistry/friendship with Mac! And now she just sucks...Oooh....I think I read about the hostage thing somewhere...

But if it's Angell..God, poor Flack. He'll be so heart broken...but at least he'll have a storyline.

See I don't think Flack would be that heart broken, but it would be interesting to see how he would react.

I hate Angell so my moneys on her as well. Or Hawkes. Because I mean sure he's a great character but the writers never give him anything and Hill Harper is very involved in politics and other things. I wouldn't be surprised if he left to pursue something else. I would if I were him. They won't kill Adam or Sid because they just were added to the credits and the fact that they'd lose a few viewers over that.

They can't kill Mac or Stella and they wouldn't dare kill Flack. I think Danny and Lindsay are fair game because the actors have other commitments. Anna Belknap has her family and Carmine has his band. And CSI did advertise a Big Death at the end of Season 3 and it ended up being Det Lockwood (I think.. might be mixed up on the name) so really anyone who isn't Mac, Stella or Flack is fair game. It should make for an interesting season finale anyways.

Eh, I don't mind Angell..but I'm not all for her either. The whole her and Flack thing was...uncalled for. I don't care if Donny Boy needs a girlfriend, I just don't see them together. Yes, they were good flirting with one another, but in the scenes we've seen them in together now that they're a couple, it's just...not the same chemistry.

Anna has gone waaay downhill since she had her first kid. Her acting just...doesn't cut it for me anymore, which sucks, because I absolutely LOVED her before.

I don't think it's her I think it's more about what is being written for her character. I mean I know she request less screen time after her daughter was born but I don't think she expected to be banished to the lab and say a line or two per episode. I wouldn't be at the top of my game either there. Although she was awesome in Sex, Lies and Silicon when she was out of the lab with Flack and pretending he was her boyfriend who had dumped her for a doll. That was classic.
