"Seeing Red" - Horatio fights to save Yelina and when Delko goes against Calleigh's plea and helps his dangerous father, his life is put in jeopardy, on the seventh season finale of CSI: MIAMI. - Futon Critic My thoughts: Oh great, Eric's gone missing and apparently he's wounded. I'm not that disappointed over it because I don't actually think Eric's had anything big in a while (last thing was probably his finding out that ... whatshisface is his dad right?), I knew it was coming, and he does deserve something now. Not H or Cal, and Ryan had WISC. I was so freaked out the WHOLE time with Yelina. I was quite positive she was going to die. But, phew. And when H shot Ivan when she bent over quick, that was awesome. I laughed when she threw the drink on H and he just sort of stood there. Even if he knew she was doing it on purpose, it was still funny. xD I could tell Ryan wanted sooooo badly to either ask Calleigh about Eric or to comfort her, but instead just made a little comment meant to cheer her up. It was nice. The gun fight was awesome. I was surprised Horatio wasn't there and it was only Calleigh and Ryan. I loved how at the end Ryan was like "Are you sure?!" And Cal went "Yes." and walked away. xD She probably didn't want to talk about it much more, but I thought it was funny. I felt bad for Calleigh. I could almost feel her emotions too. She must be soo worried over Eric. Especially since they're together now AND she thinks that it was HER that shot him (if he is indeed shot). So it was a cliffhanger. Argh. Though imo it's not as bad as it was last year. Maybe it's just because I'm a secret Horatio lover and we all know what happened last year. I'm not a huge Eric fan so I'm more meh over what happens to him (unless he dies! Noooo! I don't think so though). Still, it was a good episode, but definitely not the best episode OR season finale. Didn't top Dissolved, at least for me. OH and they already took out Megalyn E's name out of the credits... so she won't be back.

I'm sure Eric is alive, but they might ding him a little to make next season more interesting. But I do NOT think he was the one in that grave -- the last scene was at the place where Yelina was told that someone would be in the grave by tomorrow (or however long it was), right? Or am I having a senior moment? I liked the episode, they pushed our buttons without getting ridiculous. (Or maybe I'm in a better mood this week. ) And Horatio wore a blue shirt! Okay, blue with black stripes. But not The Wretched Shirt! And there was lots of "team dynamics" going on, with everyone pretty much staying in character instead of acting weird for the sake of a good line. Enough suspense to make me want to see the Season Premiere in the fall, but not enough to make me antsy all summer.

Yea mirium I think it was. I didn't notice when I was watching but some others I talked to said it was. I hiiiiiighly doubt anyone (especially Eric though) is in that grave. They'll probably forget all about it by next season.
And wow, I can't believe I didn't mention in my post that RYAN FINALLY KILLED SOMEONE. Shot him right in the head. Yay we finally know Ryan has good aim and has just been unlucky every other time. ;D xD

I'm that idiot who is lactose intolerant, ate ice cream, and had to be in the bathroom during the shoot out near the end.
GUH. WHY, ERIC, WHY? I literally started doing exactly what Cal was doing at the end of the episode. I started to cry. He can't die. He just can't. The only reason I would watch the show, if he died, is because Ryan's hot.
Was Megalyn gone from the credits? Huh. I was in the bathroom during the credits. I hope Alexx comes back, but I doubt it. =c
Anyway.
LIKED:
-Yelina! She should become a regular again..quit "The Border" and come back to American television -Yelina throwing the water on H made me lmfao -It was a nice touch to have the Russians actually trying to KILL Ivan. Basically threw in a little twist there. MAN, THAT GUY CAN EAT! -H and his blue-ish shirt! Woot! -Ryan was, once again, drool worthy -Eric being PO'd at his dad down at the dock was good -The moment where Ryan was asking Cal what was up with Eric was a good scene -That's about it for good stuff...
DISLIKED:
-Eric, you're such a -insert numerous expletives here- idiot! -All of the action was at the end -Lack of loads of Nat -Lack of mentioning from last weeks ep. No Kyle? No mentions of Tara, rumours of who the new ME is? Nothing about Jules? Saris? -It was basically just tying off loose ends -just to leave a loose end. ERIC. *isn't going to let this go lightly*
I doubt he's dead. He can swim. I'm starting to think that the bullet shard in his head is pushing against the logical part of his brain, if that's where it is.
Guh. *facedesk*

I'm just going to paste what I said on another site...just easier that way. I liked it alot...the beginning seemed like the old H...but what was up with him kissing the guy...he didn't kiss Speed when he died...didn't kiss Ray when he died...seemed out of place to me. I can't believe they left us hanging like that at the end...here is my theory on what happened to Eric... -he left the car so he wouldn't be found with his father and get into trouble for helping him. - he obviously left in a boat... BUT...did he leave willingly or was he forced by someone? If he was forced, are they keeping him hostage because of him helping his father get away from the Russian mob? If he left willingly, who had the boat there to take him away. - I do think that he was shot...but, I do not think Calleigh shot him. I think he probably just got grazed in the shoulder or something. Atleast that's what I'm hoping. - I really feel for Calleigh...she thinks she shot him and he went off to die or something...you can tell she really cares for him...this is going to kill me to have to wait all summer to find out...I don't think I was this torn up at the end of last season when they left us with Horatio shot...of course I knew he wasn't going to die and I know Eric will probably be okay too...I guess I am just a little more excited about next seasons opener than I was for this seasons opener. -It was great to see Yelina...even though I never cared for her that much...it was priceless when she threw the drink on Horatio...he actually looked like his feelings were hurt by it...such a great actor...can't wait until next season! *Mirium...I forgot about the grave...I'm not sure if that was the same spot or not...I will have to go back and watch again...I didn't remember the grave being near water...but I will watch again and pay more attention to it. ;D

I was a teeny bit disapointed with last nights eppy. I just expected it to be a bit more interesting... But then again all the Russian Mob episodes I haven't paid much attention and the only thing that really interested me last night was the rat poison thing and the gun fight. And I kinda expected Ryan to be a liiiittle more upset about killing someone. But I guess he was just trying to comfort Calleigh or something like that. Who knows. The ending seemed a little... off. Like Eric's disapearnce.. it was just kinda weird. I felt like I was missing something because it didn't seem like he was really in that much trouble.
I hope the Russian Mob thing is done with now that Sarnoff (thats his name right?) is dead. It bores me to death. I want to know whose in the grave though. I doubt it's Eric because if it was I think they would have like done some weird little zoom in thing with him in the grave just to get us all ansty till next season. He's probably passed out behind a bush or something. And I don't think Calleigh shot him because when he was driving away they showed his face and he didn't look all funny like when he got shot in the leg Man Down.
Oh and Yelina. I'm glad she's back. Her being back reminds me a little of Season 3 Miami which is good. And I didn't notice that they took Megalyn's name out of the credits. It's too bad she's gone though... I liked her. But that makes four ME's in like year. I don't think NY even got that high after Hawkes moved to the lab.

Hahahahahaa. I didn't really think they'd show Ryan's reaction. I couldn't tell if he even reacted at all because he ducked behind the cop car right after he hit the guy, and he could've just been scared crapless at all the gun fire anyway. *shrug* I don't think it was meant to be a big deal (except to Ryan fans). ME TOO! It's just getting old now. They're not interesting enough. I love the whole Ron Saris deal because he's such an awesome character and there's been quite a few twists having to do with him, but the Russian mob is just meh. As hilarious as that'd be, that's not Miami's style. It has to be this HUGE BIG DEAL even if it's really not it would be made into one. And since it involves Eric I'm sure it will be made into a huge thing. They should just let Sofia Milos come back on the show and add her name back into the credits. ;D I really like her and she's there so much! (By the way anyone who doesn't know, Sofia Milos was only in 12 episodes of the Border according to IMDB. There's already been 2 seasons of it. So not sure if IMDB is wrong, or she's just not on the show anymore. )

Yeah thats true. He's probably floating unconsious in a lake or something. Or he's been kidnapped and drugged by the Russians and he's bleeding out in like some random basement or something. I dunno. I hope he's passed out behind a bush. Otherwise there could be about a billion places he could be that and most of those are place I think he'd be better off not being.

...the beginning seemed like the old H...but what was up with him kissing the guy...he didn't kiss Speed when he died...didn't kiss Ray when he died...seemed out of place to me. I'm wondering if H knew the dying cop, maybe had been mentoring him and was starting to think of him as a son? H had obviously asked him to do a favor, but the way the cop apologized, they seemed a lot closer than professionals who respect each other. Oh, joy, another loose end.
