Ah, well she said this before they found out that Adam was leaving.
I think he left because he wanted to do movies. He just did a Tyler Perry one, and liked it I guess. Probably has to do with the paycheck too. It's weird without him, but I actually don't miss him that much.
ME, THE ONE WHO WAS OBSESSED WITH HIM, doesn't miss him that much. They turned his character into someone who made scenes awkward. What saddens me is that he was back to the old Eric in his last episode. He was snarky, had attitude, and was confident. He wasn't quiet, holding back, or anything. And then he left. =c

He's still going to be in like 7 more episodes this season. Apparently (he said on his Twitter) he filmed 10. But I don't know anything else they're doing with that, so no idea when or why or how the episodes are gonna be.
And honestly, I don't miss him much either. I thought I would because he's been a major character since season 1, but I just don't. *shrug* Hardly notice he's gone in fact. It may be because there are new characters already so I never really noticed a gap. I dunno. Or maybe it's just the fact that I was never a big Eric fan to begin with.
I'm sure if it were Ryan gone, it'd be a different story for me. *shrug*

Hmmm this is coming from one of the biggest delko fans since like a long time lol. I haven't noticed him gone that much either. I think it has to do with Walt, Ryan, and Jesse. The scenes with those three are always going to be funny and interesting. It seems after Eric left the show has gotten better? I don't know... I just haven't noticed Eric gone that much either lol

how can calleigh get pregers if eric is leaving the show? Calleigh mastered the art of asexual reproduction Katie, you are right. Having Ryan, Walter, and Jesse there, you don't notice Eric missing. And this may be a target to Eric fans, but the show has been he double hockey sticks of a lot better without Eric there. A lot more interaction of Natalia, Ryan, and Frank, and I'm enjoying it, especially WRJ

I definitely agree with you Katie and Dawn, about the show being better since Eric has gone. There's less H/Eric/Calleigh drama going on, and more equal screentime between characters now.
Maybe that's another reason not many of us are noticing shortage of Eric. Since the show has gotten better, we're not really looking around asking for Eric because we're bored with the show, it's mostly keeping our attention, giving us less time to miss him.
P.S. I'm gonna modify the thread title so that people know the conversation that's going on now. Yay! My first action as a mod!

P.S. I'm gonna modify the thread title so that people know the conversation that's going on now. Yay! My first action as a mod! We can do that? I'm not missing Eric terribly either, but I think you guys are right -- it's nothing against Eric, it's that the show has suddenly come alive again with lots of interesting characters instead of droning on and on about one lo-o-ong story arc that drowns out everything else. And since they didn't kill him off, the door's open for him to come back in a season or two and I'll be surprised if he doesn't. Heck, they could have a story line where Calleigh is off balance because her main man has walked away and she starts having lapses in judgment and whoops! there's a baby on the way and her main man returns and has a reasonably mature reaction instead of pitching a fit (although it takes visible effort) and gets back together with her... *cough*Jack&SamOnWAT*cough*

I just typed a huge long reply, hit some buttons, and shut my internet window. GUH.
In a nutshell of what I was trying to say before keys were hit, They (*coughwriterscough*) didn't space out the Eric drama enough.
Tim died. Eric kind of lost his way a bit. BUT, this, sadly, was him at his best (post seasons 1 and 2, nonetheless). Seasons 3 and 4, we were fine. Not so much drama in between, until the whole Marisol thing occurred. Marisol died. That next March (I think it was March), he gets a bullet put in his head. He changed then. Hell, who wouldn't though? He starts liking Cal, and by season 6, he's butting heads with Jake to prove his love for Cal. He was good then too, because he had something to work against. Jake gets taken out of the picture, all we get to see is a sap story about a guy who likes a girl and does all this cheesy crap to prove it (Like, seriously, chocolate truffles in And They're Offed? Screw that, I was more interested in Ryan trying to beat the crap out of someone!). Finally, he professes his love for Cal, they get together, and then all the daddy drama occurred. Which confused me. He goes from punching the guy in one ep to saving his ass in a few eps later. MAKES PERFECT SENSE, EH? *eyeroll*. Anyway, idiot gets himself almost killed. Again. Oh, and then has an epiphany about his life.
Was the whole him realizing that Cal's been there all along after he got shot in the head not a life epiphany?
By God, did this second dose of head trauma snap him out of his sensitive state, and snap him back into his "I'm a man!" state? I think it did. And by God, maybe he realized he made a mistake.
I don't know. But he seemed back to normal. Maybe the bullet shard was pushing up against the spot in his brain that made him all sensitive and sappy.
-end rant-
..........so much for nut shell...

The season so far for me has been so much better. That long ,drawn out story arc of Eric and Calleigh was ruining the show for me. I'm liking the increased interactions of the characters.Showing the same pair to the exclusion of everyone else was irritating the h*** out of me. So,like everyone else,I'm not missing Eric.Anything that was going to change how the show was being played out is welcomed by me.
