Just wanted to stop and say that I really liked the "Trilogy" as they called it. I'm SO glad they found Madeline alive. It would've ruined the whole thing had she been found dead, at least for me. I actually enjoyed it! All three parts.

*hyped up on sugar, so I apologize if this review of the Trilogy makes no sense*
I thought that the Vegas one would be the one to beat; the best of the three, because it would be Langston back home trying to finish what he started.
I was wrong. I'm going to work my way backwards through them, from Vegas, to NY, to Miami.
The Vegas one was a bunch of loose ends, thrown together with loose ends. Whatever happened with Zeta? They didn't take them down in Vegas. They just went after the pimps. I'm glad that Madeline lived. But, did they remove her baby? Or just beat the crap out of her? And they flashed the (long distance) texts from H and Mac way too quickly. I didn't even get to read what H's said. As my Mom said during the NY installment, "Mm, there goes the taxpayer's money". The only thing personal was the whole Langston/Madeline thing...nothing special. Until Hodges put on the palm tree glasses: THAT was my favorite part.
New York was...odd. I really liked the beginning; it was different, and Casey Steele was a real sleezebag. The Mac/Langston relationship was a tad awkward. Not sure why...it just seemed that way. Also, Lindsay should have been a little more sentimental when she found out that Madeline was pregnant. She is a mother, after all. Anna Belknap's acting talent went down significantly after she had her first child...I know they talk about this a lot on the CSIFiles reviews.
Now, most surprising to me, Miami, which has been struggling the last few years, came out on top to me. It was personal, and not just with the case. We actually got to see the character's personalities, quirks, and all that jazz. We felt more at home. It was almost like it wasn't even a crossover! Calleigh's southern twang came out when she was talking to Langston! And when the ME was blabbering to Langston, we could see that Horatio was holding back an eye roll! It was hilarious! And I can't forget "I don't have to run faster than the bear, I just have to run faster than you!". IT. WAS. CLASSIC! The Miami segment was also the most brutal. THEY CUT HER ARM OFF WHILE SHE WAS ALIVE! I didn't feel the same gut wrenching feeling when they found out that the pimp might have killed Madeline by beating her. But I could sure feel it on this.
So, surprise, surprise, I lthink the Miami one was the best. Kudos to them!
