How to add Avatars

The piccies that show up next to your name, in the box to the left of your post.

I used to know, but I've forgotten. Can any of you techies help us Luddites out and explain how to do it?

Go into modify profile on your profile. Scroll down to where it says avatars. Enter the link of the pic that you would like to use as your avatar (I think the avatar is the direct link instead of ). There should be a box near by that also allows you to adjust the height of the avatar. Don't forget to save either

When I go to my images in Photobucket, it gives me four choices of what link to use, and I have to futz around before I find which one works -- and then promptly forget which one it was, of course. Can you give any hints, for those of us who are still cyber-klutzes?

Sure thing Mirium. Like Mirium said, with photobucket, photobucket offers 4 different options for links to use to post your pics. For the avatar section, you want to use the option direct link. Anything else, you want to use the option IMG code
