Sarry just you wait until the season premiere of the seventh season over there. Your opinion of him will change. I liked him already because even though he was hot he was sort of arrogant, and I thought it was funny. (Even if he got in the way of DuDe...) But in Resurrection I thought he was reaally sweet with Calleigh and what he did for her.  I have a feeling we won't be seeing him again, especially because of what he did and how the gang may react. |

I thought the reason Jake suddenly disappeared from the story line was that the actor who plays him got his own series. Am I confused?
(wouldn't be the first time...)

But that's not the reason they used in Miami. I'm talking about why Jake left Miami, not why Johnny Whitworth left the show.
At least he didn't just disappear though. They actually wrote him out in a good way, and if Johnny Whitworth is never coming back, we can make up our own minds as to why Jake isn't, unless they tell us. If he does ever come back to Miami, well then yay! As long as it isn't as a DB.

TPTB on CSIM seem to like both Jake and Johnny, so I'd guess they won't write Jake out permanently -- after all, Johnny Whitworth's new series might only last a season or two, or their shooting schedule might not be exactly the same as CSIM's so he could fit in an episode or two....
And it's not like they've always bothered to explain what happened to characters who vanished. *coughMadisoncough*

Yeah..the last we saw of her, was when she was in the hospital.

I always thought Jake was a little on the arrogant side, but having known law enforcement, you sort of HAVE to be cocky to do what he does. Undercover work is staring death in the face every single day.
Johnny Whitworth is from my neck of the woods, so I like him just fine.
We could talk all day about characters just disappearing. coughRickStetlercough. But I digress.

I don't find Jake any more arrogant than anyone else on the show.Everyone of them has some arrogance,why should he be different.
I would love to see Jake again,but would be surprised if he made another appearance.
