Relax, I'm not suggesting that Jack and Vivian are interested in each other romantically. But in the last episode (two kidnapped housewives, Feb. 3, 2009), at the very end, they had a little scene where they were both complimenting each other about being right about the case. It's a big change from last season, Viv was POed at him the whole time, even when he was almost dead. 
And a welcome change, because they're the two "old hands" on the team -- and they've got a lot in common.
Viv seems to approve of Jack/Sam, too, based on her convos with Sam (Viv was smiling when she asked Sam about it). That's a surprise to me, I wouldn't think she would be happy about Jack breaking another rule, especially one that makes him play favorites among the team. Maybe she was just pretending to be happy about it, to get Sam to open up, but she hasn't gotten in Jack's face about it...yet. Just a matter of time before she yanks his chain about something, of course. :pillowfight:
