February 19th is the 41st anniversary of the first nationwide broadcast of Fred Rogers' TV show for children. I was already too old to be in his target audience, but have watched it just because it's a good show.
He was once visiting a bad neighborhood and had his car stolen. When the theft was reported in the news, the thieves returned it with a note, "If we'd known this car belonged to Mr. Rogers, we never would have taken it."
We miss you, Mr. R!

Aaaw I used to love Mr. Rogers. It's a beautiful in the neighbourhood, a beautiful day for a neighbour, would you be mine? Would you be mine? I like the fact thoe criminals said they wouldn't have stolen it if they'd known it was his.
