I'm pretty sure everyone has heard of Twilight or at least the fangirls but I was just curious what peoples thoughts on it are. Like it? Hate? Like it but are scared to death of the fangirls? And if by some fluke you haven't heard of it I'm not sure I'd advise googling it. You never know what might pop up. Like a site professing some thirteen year from South Africa's love for Edward. : /

I personally read the books before the hype, and they are actually WONDERFUL books. The publicity has ruined the series. People aren't reading them because of it, when they are actually good books.

I read the books when people were just starting to go crazy over Twilight. I only read them because they were about vampires (I liked vampire books WAY before I ever read Twilight). They were good books, but they definitely weren't amazing or anything. The ending of Breaking Dawn was the worst way to end a book series ever... I was sitting there reading waiting for something good to happen and then it was over...
And the movie was just plain old BAD. I'm sorry but WOW. It seemed like they through it together really fast because so many people were waiting for it. And I don't like saying bad things about actors but Kirsten Stewart... they couldn't have found someone worse to play Bella. I mean Bella is a pretty complicated character. IMO they should have found a better actress to play her.
Twilight will never beat Harry Potter. ;D Books or movies.
Oh P.S. I am Team Jacob. xP

The movie, as my friend Courtenay said, was "the best crappiest movie ever". It was the book in fast forward.
I haven't finished Breaking Dawn. I already know how it ends. I'm about half way through, not even...maybe half way through the Jacob section.

My daughter had the series completely read by the first day the last book came out. Then, she went to the theater at midnight the day they released the movie...now she wants to buy the DVD. I haven't read any of the books, nor have I seen the movie...so I can't really give my opinion on it. I will probably end up watching it someday...although, I don't care that much for vampire movies. ;D

There's really nothing vampiric about it. At least with the first one. : / I went on the day the movie came out with my schools book club. xD It was actually pretty fun, but not because of the movie. That was the best part about the whole series. The Jacob section of Breaking Dawn. He is by far my favourite character in the book and I loved reading through his POV. ;D

I read all the books... haha I know me reading oxi moron right there... and I didn't like Bella and Edward's realationship. Like honestly I hate sappy, lovey dovey stuff and that was riducously! It took my three months to finish the first book cause it was sooo lovey dovey! I think I almost puked one time while reading it.
But I say the movie... I made stupid comments the whole time, but I thought it was a good movie. Taylor Launter is god! I want on that!
But anyway I liked the Twilight Saga, as my sister keeps correcting me because it's not a series. Apparently a series has like the same title or something. And I'll end up seeing all the movies and drooling over Taylor Launter.
