Just saw this on another forum I visit often. I'm actually pretty amazed. I know there are hardly any Canadians on this forum, but I'm sure there are many American's who would be ashamed of this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcJn5XlbSFkI can't believe people watch that channel and look to it for their news. No wonder some people think all Canadian police officers are mounties and it's always cold here. Look how they get their information. And read the YouTube info spot. Seriously.

Fox News has its own world view -- they still occasionally reporting that Saddam Hussein/Iraq were responsible for the 9/11 bombings. They're also not entirely convinced that Obama is President. It's pretty amusing to watch the reports of pretty much anything on Fox and MSNBC (which also has its own world view), one after the other -- sometimes I can't even tell it was the same event. I'm pleasantly surprised that Fox News is aware that Canada exists.

I'm pleasantly surprised that Fox News is aware that Canada exists. *snorts* Got that right, Mirium. I find this all funny, because last night's episode of Family Guy, which is a Fox Show, spent the entire episode BASHING Fox, saying how they'll burn other people, but as soon as it burns them back, they change their minds about it. Our men and women are over there risking their lives, for crying out loud. While our Mounties are tazering Polish tourists to death. Now, THAT was embarassing, and completely uncalled for. Stupid Vancouver Police. The guy comes at them with a STAPLER, and they taser him to death.

The Simpsons is another Fox show that makes fun of Fox quite a lot. xD
But wow, I can't believe this is a real news station and not some SNL like thing. : /

Don't worry. I know exactly how you feel. CNN has been insulting the U.S. military and their families for years. I still remember some CNN reporter comparing military wives to "welfare recipients" because we "don't work for a paycheck."
That's as far as I'll go with this discussion.

CNN, any apologies? Now I'm not taking sides, but why take the fustration out on the network because of one twit? Fox news was NOT the one who belittled Canada, Greg Gutfeld did!!! Now if Fox News belittled Canada, that would have to come from all the reporters such as Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reily. And please do notice that this guy airs 3:00 am est and is a weekend filler. Obviously he's just on there to fill a time slot.

I know for a fact Fox News (and many of its reporters) has insulted (and will keep insulting) a lot more than just Canada a lot more than one time.

Here's a question who else from Fox News has insulted Canada from the past, and who's going to do it in the future? The last insult I heard of from Fox News to Canada was back in 2004, and that was only after the Canadian media newsman made the insult about Fox News and Bill O'Reily first. Matter of fact, O'Reily was the one that went up against him, not Fox News itself.
However, that insult is different from the one made by Gutfeld. The one Gutfeld made shouldn't have been made against ANY man or woman serving in war right now. Like I said before, the twit is on 3 am. He's on while the rest of us are getting some beauty sleep ^_^. Obviously not that credible of a journalist now, is he?

That's okay, Canadians. We Christian conservative American veterans are accustomed to our own representatives making derogatory comments about us. At least this was an AMERICAN news outlet poking fun at Canada. Are your own elected representatives doing this to you? In a speech he gave in San Francisco last year, Obama (who has not yet produced his birth certificate to prove his U.S. citizenship in line with the U.S. Constitution) refers to us as "bitter clingers." www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2001749/posts(And Mr. Obama, just so you know, I've found my guns and my Bible to be a whole lot more useful than any Washington politician) Senator John Kerry's (D-Massachussetts) crack about those who served in Iraq www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CKOHiT8vr0Now YOU try keeping up troop morale with Harry Reid (D-Nevada) making cracks like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYZEGot-xU4At least Dick Durbin (D-Illinois) was nice enough to apologize for comparing our Marines on duty at Gitmo as "Nazis, using tactics similar to those of Pol Pot and the killing fields." www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,160275,00.html Try keeping your chin up when your own representatives are saying these things about you (which were broadcast on CSPAN, but only Fox News and talk radio reported. CNN, CNBC and MSNBC were strangely silent about it).
