(woman with a Big Dog gets stabbed in her kitchen and calls 911) Wow, this must be a first -- the clips in the promos not only showed up in the episode, they actually turned out to be pretty much what they seemed to be in the ads! It was an interesting change of pace to have a vic who survived the attack, although I was chuckling while Horatio interviewed her -- umm, H, don't want to tell you how to do your job, but wouldn't "can you describe the guy who stabbed you?" be a good question to ask? I also had to smile at Eric getting jealous of some guy Calleigh was friendly with before they got together, when he's flirting with the Animal Control lady. It seemed weird to me that the perp could just walk into the crime scene and attack Calleigh -- don't these guys use even the basic security that people use in their homes, such as locking the door? Ah, well, maybe not -- there are more people needing to come in and out, and giving everyone a key would be a practical problem, and it is pretty brazen to attack a cop when other cops are likely to be around. But still..... Sergei (Eric's dad) seems to be shaping up as a pretty good Nemesis-of-the-Season, IMO -- the actor is wonderfully menacing! And the fact that he's Eric's dad gives everyone lovely angst opportunities for the future.

Yep, finally saw this last night. I had to laugh at Ryan saying "Whoa! Nice dog!" when that dog lunged at him.
At least they're not showing the E/C thing as all wine and roses. Calleigh has that guy's number still on her speed dial. I guess Eric's been snooping through her cell phone. I missed the part of him flirting with the animal control lady.
The end was a little hard for me to take, mostly because I like Ryan so much. I'm glad to see that TPTB are having him mature into his role and not be a good-hearted kid who keeps making bonehead mistakes.
And hey, the E/C relationship is what it is, but I'm also glad they're putting a little balance in there.
As far as covering the crime scene, I would think there should be armed officers on the perimeter. I know that an armed officer will typically search a crime scene, clear it, and then seal it off until a CSI gets there. The ones I've seen don't usually have armed officers unless they perceive a threat, at which point they will either do that or work in pairs.
Forgive me, but I really hope Miami goes back to simple murders and/or accidents. JMHO, the mob/gang thing is getting a little old for me. Seems the Mala Noche were the biggest threat Miami had ever seen, and then they just sort of went away. And it's amazing our CSI's are even functional after some of the things they've been through!

It was a good episode, at least I loved it. The beginning scene was really interesting because the girl didn't die, and it would have sucked if she had because they'd wasted 10 minutes of her dragging herself around the floor.
Ryan and the dog, that would have scared the crap out of me too. xD
Calleigh and the bag! That was scary.
Calleigh impressed me when her and Horatio went to find the guy who had her gun, and she yelled "GUN!" and everyone ducked.
Frank and Natalia are being photographed too! YAY!
I loved Ryan's smile at the end, when he refused to tell the guy anything. But next week looks intense, I'm scared for him. : /
Oh, and when Ryan was checking the flat, very nice ass shot. XD
I can't wait for next week.

OMG HUFFY!! I did the same thing I was like o0o0o0o nice ass shot at like the same time my mom said it!! It was funny and totally hot. Oh and when he got out of the car I said, "He's gonna kick the tire" then he did and my mom laughed.
I definitely liked the fact that the victim survived for once because it's a change from the usual dead body. And I'm sorry but I started laughing when I saw Horatio standing in the doorway at the beginning. I don't know why I just was.
I'm not a shipper, but I like that fact the Eric and Calliegh's realationship is like any other one. They have their ups and downs. No sugar coating.
It was great to see that Ryan was afraid of dogs, cause I've always seen him as a person afraid of dogs. Like when he was little he got bit in the butt by a beagle or chichua (sp?).
Oh and last thing, when Ryan was looking at the pictures I was like, "You imagine of him in his boxers popped up?" Then my mom said, "I see him as a boxer briefs kind of guy with white socks." It was pretty funny!
Overall I thought it was a great episode and next weeks.... WHOA

Agreed with the ass shot!
Oh God. Ryan and the dog had me laughing SO DAMN HARD. Sucks though, because I was going to write something like that. Damn writers reading my mind.
Guuuh we saw what, 3 seconds of Ryan getting his butt whooped? Depressing. Better be more next ep.
Now that the E/C has finally happened, I don't mind it. I don't mind it as long as they're not GUSHING over one another. The jealousy thing was cute =P
I still think that Ms. Animal Control Officer should have been in on it SOMEHOW. Would've been a real twist! I was trying to get over the fact that she could've grabbed the collar where the blood was. Contaminating evidence, no? And Eric blowing on the fingerprint thing? More contaminating, even though they already did DNA.
Anyway. The episode was pretty good =)

I liked it...everyone getting their photos taken by some weirdo...and poor Ryan...looks like he isn't going to have a very good time in the next episode...I hope he doesn't turn "bad" like the promo says...although, we all know how the promos give us false info sometimes. I agree with everyone else on the ass shot...very nice!
