Please tell me it involves an IAB agent and his mole? ;D Hmmm. It might involve that, a lieutenant, and a slimy killer, and the post-eppie predictions of what could happen... specially made for you. Maybe it does, Liz. ;D Aw, thanks, Shiny. Right now I'm actually a little bored. Finally got a chance to see what they did to me. YEESH! Those incisions are starting to itch, which I know is a good thing. I won't get too graphic here, but now I understand why they gave me so much Tylox. That's actually Tylenol with codeine. Take one of those, and you just might wake up face down in your back yard talking to Elvis, to quote Jeff Foxworthy. Think I'm coherent enough to start chapter 4 of Our Little Secret. It will just take some effort. This morning I was able to wash my hair and shower with the antibacterial wash the hospital gave me. Hubby put a chair in the bathroom so I could brush my teeth and fix my hair. That sort of wore me out, though. But it was good to put on some clean clothes. Still got lots of needle marks, tape marks, and bruises. Shiny, if you need some ideas for your SSS's, especially if it involves a certain IAB agent undergoing surgery, I can help. I walked away with some fresh new ideas for writing.

Hey, Harmy! Haven't heard from you in a while! Welcome back! I am feeling better this morning. Hubby took me for a short stroll in our neighborhood in the fresh air yesterday, as much as I could tolerate, and I think that made a huge difference. Although I think I'm going to have to knock off the Tylox. Makes me have very vivid dreams, and I woke up lying on my stomach at 2 a.m. Not good. Seems like plain old Motrin does the job, and I'm less likely to feel like Hope we're gonna see some more of your stories soon. I have at least another week of recovery.

Thanks, everybody. *hugs*
Had a bit of a relapse yesterday (Tuesday morning). Ended up calling the advice nurse with my insurance company. She reassured me that, as long as I wasn't showing signs of an infection or blood poisoning (I wasn't), then I didn't have to go back to the dr or the hospital.
Admittedly I've been overdoing it somewhat. I was also feeling very agitated and restless. Both the nurse and hubby reminded me that the dr. gave me that lovely Tylox for a reason. They also reminded me that I'm on medical leave for a reason. So I popped some Tylox. It got me calmed down and back on an even keel. I ended up sleeping away most of Tuesday. But I'm feeling better this morning.
I already wrote a thank-you letter to the hospital for all their care and excellent service. I'm also going to make a little PowerPoint presentation as a thank-you card for my co-workers. As a nice little twist, I'm going to use MASH and Miami screencaps. Hopefully I can put it together before going back to work Monday.
One thing I've discovered about Tylox. I might have slept the day away, but I had some very awesome, vivid dreams. I wonder whether David Lee Smith knows he's such a good massage therapist. ;D

Hmm, jaglady. Sounds like the Medically Recommended course for you is to spend the next few days parked in a comfy chair with your feet up and your computer on your lap, and write stories and make icons and banners and surf the 'Net to your heart's content. While taking drugs that make you mellow while awake and give you lovely dreams when you're asleep. You must have been very, very good in a previous life.
