I had to start this thread! I thought this was one of the best episodes this season. My thoughts, copy and paste as always but same thoughts. Kinda long.

Ho-ly crap. I loved this episode. I don't care what anyone else says about it, I thought it was so good. The case may have been weak but I think they were focusing more on other things this epi. A+++ So...

- The beginning, was so gross. Worse than the wood-chipper.

- Ron Saris actually didn't do it... I was surprised. But what's going to happen with him? Will he be back for season 8?

- Travers in the field?! Dude, I know he was there to help with whatever was in the pool but that was still weird to see him out with the CSI's.

- I loved Ryan and Eric's scene when they were processing the car. I wanna see those leather pants of Ryan's. lmao. My brother laughed so hard at what Ryan said about some hooved animal stealing the car keys and then proceeding to kill someone. :/

- Ryan looked meaaan when he caught Tara with the pills again. I like how he got to mention his gambling. I think it was a good idea to have Ryan be the one to find out about her addiction since he knows what it's like (even if not as bad as her).

- The morgue scene was freaking intense. For a second I doubted the promo and thought Ryan DID get shot. And when Julia told him to put the gun down, o0o0o0o0o0o. My whole family was like OH MY GOD when she turned around and held the gun to her own head. I have to say I thought a lot of things during that scene. Thought Ryan DID get shot, thought Julia was going to shoot Tara for implicating her, thought she was going to kill herself.

- I love how Ryan yelled. YAY! I was hoping he'd get angry, and who wouldn't, having a gun pointed at you?

- Natalia was only in one scene again (I'm starting to think this is Eva La Rue's decision it's been happening so often and only to her) but I like how she comforted Horatio and asked if there was anything she could do to help. Nice to know there's still some team aspect between her and the rest.

- The whooole Tara thing, I loved. Loved the search warrant for her locker, loved Ryan checking all the names on the bottles to the dead bodies, loved how he wanted to walk with her to see Stetler (even though he didn't tell her why, though I think she had a fair idea). And I didn't feel the least bit sorry for her when she was arrested, nor did I think Stetler was being a butthead. And Ryan DID give her chances.

- It scared me when that Shane guy slammed the table and the water got all over the floor. I was slightly confused and thought the water had been like the water in the pool.

- Loved Frank protecting Calleigh in that scene.

- Aw, poor Julia (psh) gone to the looney bin. But I think it's a good thing. Hopefully we won't be seeing more of her any time soon. I'm good with more Kyle but I hope she doesn't show up again for a long while. The scene between her and Horatio was sort of strange. *shrug*

- I felt quite bad for Eric and Ryan when they watched Tara leave. Another one of their team members they couldn't trust, and another ME to leave. I miss Alexx even more now.

I think I'm done for now. *phew* Of course I was really dumb and didn't see the promo because I ran up to my room to post this, but my mom told me about it and it sounds pretty intense as well. Can't wait.

I liked it too, for all the reasons you said. I think Horatio was conflicted in that scene with Julia -- that he still has feelings for her even though he's also got serious reservations about what she's become, that he thinks Kyle is better off with her at a distance unless she can get herself together but Kyle has dreams about having a loving mom and might blame Horatio (at least at a gut level) for Julia "going away" and abandoning him again, that Julia's a Damsel In Distress and he wants to rescue her but she's a danger to both Kyle and him in her current condition....

Which would make anyone act weird.

It was a wonderful epi..one of the best of the season. I hope Alexx returns at least for a while to replace Tara.

I really hope TPTB do not have plans on Horatio and Julia getting back together. They seemed a little too cozy at the end...

I agree...I don't think they should do the whole Horatio/Julia thing...yuck


I loved this episode...probably the best of the season (so far)...poor Natalia didn't get much screen time...but the rest of them seemed to get equal time which is great!

Tara has alot of explaining to do...wonder who is going to take her place

okay i loved the show but for once they managed to supprise me. i knew tara was going to get arrested but it didn't seem fair to me. i was sorry to see her being the bad gal. i didn't really care for her as the ME. if it is going to be a black woman she needs to be alot stronger more like Khandi. maybe she wasn't meant to be that strong person though. i'm conflicted. i don't want to be unfair to her but i've never really liked her in this role.
what on earth have they done to Horatio's eyes lately. they are always squinty. heck my poor clone has been through heck but his eyes haven't been looking that rough. as a matter of fact every time H came on while i was watching the epi on the computer my H was hissing at him.. hummmmm. but H still rules jeanne

Lovvvvved it. It helped me review for my Chemistry Test..which just happened to be on acids and bases. Base + Acid = Neutral!

THE GOOD POINTS:

-Eric's hair looks like it's FINALLY growing back. But the fact that the bullet in his head will probably come out next season makes me sad, because he'll just have to shave his head again. Woe is me.

-There wasn't an overload of E/C, just a smile.

-I love Travers.

-Kim Coates was WONDERFUL. I haven't heard that much sarcasm come from a character's mouth since Speedle was on!

-I was complaining about Eric wearing suits too much now, and lo-and-behold, he didn't wear one. Yes, it was a semi-unflattering polo, but at least we're getting somewhere.

-Poor Ryan. He's just NOT having a good season! He's been kidnapped, had to tamper with evidence, and now he has a gun pointed at him? Poor guy =c AND he had to rat out Tara.

-Ricky Boy listened and got a hair cut. That made my day.

-RICKY BOY AND H WERE ON THE SAME SIDE FOR ONCE. THIS ONE GOES DOWN IN THE BOOKS!

-Julia going postal was a wonderful scene!

-Tara being arrested was depressing. There's NO WAY that she can possibly come back now. And if she is back next season, the writer's are sure as hell going to hear about it >:c. I want Alexx back.

-What is this? H is still in love with Jules? NEVER WOULD HAVE GUESSED

-Ronny will be back next season, and will be up to no good, of course.

THE BAD STUFF

...nothing really...

OH WAIT. THERE WAS ONE THING!

How did the bad guy know that Ron would push the dead guy into the pool? As Ron said, he could've been the target. It was HIS pool that was filled with NaOH. The suspect couldn't have possibly known that Ron would push the dude into the pool. So yes. That needs to be answered.

This was definitely one of my favorite episodes this season. I think Luf pretty much summed up why this ep was so good. I felt really bad for Ryan. I don't think he wanted to turn Tara in, but that he had no choice. The tie-in with his gambling problem was good too.
