For those of you who aren't from the U.S., Memorial Day is when we honor our military personnel by having backyard barbeques and sales on big-screen TVs. It's an American Thing.

I'll be scoffing down some tasty grilled brats (that's bratwurst to you non-Wisconsinites) with my family, and e-mailing my two friends who Served to thank them for making it possible for me to enjoy brats and big-screen TVs. Particularly for protecting the freedom of speech that is exercised on those TVs and in other places, even if (or especially because) what's said is often silly.

Hope everyone has a chance this weekend to exercise your right to be silly, whereever you are!

However, feel free to aim your water guns, water balloons, and sprinklers at Mirium, Sarry, and Luffy

. No swimming on a full stomach either!

SERIOUS NOTE: If you're going out and going to drink....PLEASE let someone who is sober drive!!!! It's not fun when OMI and Emergency Personnel have to literally scrape you off the road.

And I want to have a bonfire soooo badly but it might rain! And trying to light wet firewood is IMPOSSIBLE!! And yes dumb me has tried that before.
