CBS is probably waiting to see how the fans like the guy before deciding how long the character will be around. Not much about the actor in Wikipedia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Clemenson but I notice he was on NCIS -- Bruckheimer does tend to "try out" people before casting them in major roles, doesn't he?

I thought he was a hoot! Wonder if he's going to turn out to be quirky but supercompetent, or a cross they have to bear? Either way, it should be fun.

I liked him too, though I kinda thought he was too over enthusiastic, like they're making him try too hard to be popular with viewers! That said however, I do like him, and don't groan when he comes on the screen!

I like him more than I like Jesse, but less than I like Walter. ;D He's a little weird, which I like since we had Alexx, who was serious and caring, and then Tara, who didn't turn out very well. So it's cool to finally have someone different.

Is Walter the new tech who has an accent, or the black guy? I'm disposed to like any minor character named Walter, especially if his last name is Harriman. (Stargate SG-1 reference, for those of you who don't recognize it.)

I've seen the black guy in another role somewhere, and he was excellent, but I can't remember where (although I think it was a Bruckheimer show). It's driving me slightly nuts. Anyone else having this feeling?
