I'm excited. Not as excited as I was last season, but still. I'm still not sure what I think about a lot of the spoilers, so I'm gonna keep watching this season to see what happens.  |

i'm feeling real rough today but i want to stay awake to see the first show. heck i haven't even seen the end of last season because i haven't ordered my season 7 yet. i look forward to seeing how old the characters look tonight. cause my lover boy H is looking very long in the tooth lately.. lol. i'm hoping that i don't have a cold or the flu cause i'm freezing and i turned off my air conditioning. everyone else around here is hot.. oh well.... So, whadya all think? I never seem to get excited about the parts I'm supposed to ("Eric's on life support? Meh.") but I enjoyed finding out where the sunnies came from, and how Speed joined the squad, and seeing Calleigh as a young steel magnolia -- and Frank with sideburns! Oh, man, I can just picture him flauntin' some moves under that disco ball....  |

i was really laughing when i saw frankie boy with sideburns and that mustash. i hate that i can't spell. i swear H appears like he was wearing a mask. that has to be to make him look that much younger.. calleigh looked wonderful. also the new guy, jessie is from the old series i loved called INVASION. man to be only 38 years old he is hot..lol... okay i'll be good....also eric really looked yummmmmmyyyyyy.. i loved the crack about calliegh giving eric her phone number now or later.. i enjoyed the show. jeanne

*clears throat* All I have to say is... meh. I didn't find it all that exciting, and I thought the back and forth between past and present was a little confusing. And I knew Ryan wasn't going to be in this episode much, but I didn't think he wouldn't even SPEAK!!! He. Didn't. Even. TALK!  He was shown twice, for about 2 seconds each time. The first time I think he was giving blood maybe? They didn't even show it long enough for me to be able to tell. Seriously, what the eff. Same goes for Natalia, but at least she was there for maybe, oh, ten seconds?  At least Frank was there and I liked that while Jesse Cardoza was in the episode a lot, he was mostly by himself, talking to himself (or to a recorder, whatever) for most of the time. ;D Other than those complaints the rest was good. I loved Eric hitting on Calleigh. Calleigh was awesome in the flashbacks! She was just like early season Calleigh, way more cheerful. Aaw, she was so cute in the whole thing. Frank was good old Frank for the little bit he was in the episode. I was a little sad they took out the part they were apparently going to have, about Calleigh saying bald men were sexy. Horatio reminded me of a Who from Whoville on the Grinch. I dunno why, I guess it was the makeup. They did a pretty good job of making them look younger and in the words of my mom "Eric looks ripped". Holy moly, he was sexy tonight. Uhm, the sunnies part made me smile. xD I thought it really showed how close Eric and Horatio were even way back then and made Horatio's whole stroking-of-the-cheek a little less creepy... kinda. I'm probably forgetting a lot that I wanted to say, but I'll leave it here for now. Come on Miami, this is my favourite show and yet out of the 5 premieres I watched this week, it would be third on my favourites list. I just hope this isn't a sign of things to come, ESPECIALLY concerning Ryan. |

I'll say pretty much Ditto to everything luf posted.Almost everything,not being an E/C shipper didn't care if they showed Eric hitting on Calleigh or not.
I do think (even if the episode was a flashback) having Natalia and Ryan featured for a few seconds with no speaking part was disrespectful to the actors,their characters and their fans.

All I thought was they kinda made Eric's DIRE situation into a funny one, which was kinda meh! I mean I actually giggled when they first flashed back. I think they introduced Jesse early on before Eric leaves so they don't have the backlash they had when Ryan joined after Speed died. I kinda like Jesse to be honest! |

I like your theory, sarry (the one in the spoiler bar). I was relieved that the episode had a light side, we've had several seasons of solid hyperdrama and I've been missing the little bits of wackiness they used to have.  It was nice to see them resurface. I'm not sure whether I like Jesse or not yet, it will depend on how they develop the character. So far he seems to be a mishmash of traits that fans like in other characters-- Horatio's mysteriously excellent timing, Speed's recklessness, Jake's cockiness... He looks pretty good for a FrankenCharacter, I must say.  |
