This is kind of the opposite of Susan Boyle (the woman who looked like nothing and sang like an angel) -- although I have no idea what Florence Foster Jenkins looked like. It's the "Not My Job" segment of "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" this week (October 24, 2009). They're broadcasting from Carnegie Hall instead of their usual studio this week, and they use local stories when they travel, so they found Florence.

At the end of the segment you get to hear a recording of Florence, err, performing. "Singing" doesn't seem to be quite the right word.
