Don't know about you guys, but I'm seeing a lot of red Xs tonight -- and some of them are the standard buttons Proboards put in, and then everything looks fine, and then the Xs are back.... If it keeps happening, I'll bop over to their Support Board and find out what's going on.

Okay, the smilies are back -- and now the news fader is gone. (That's the thing at the top of the board that scrolls a welcome message.) Time to visit the Support Board, all righty!  |

All fixed. ;D Apparently some of the auto-ads that Proboards shows to pay for this place had "audio content," which violates Proboards' contract with the advertising folks, and their attempts to block them caused a bunch of little glitches. I just turned the news fader off and on again and it reappeared. I do like easy fixes....  *packs up her cybertool box and puts it back in the virtual cupboard, including the electronic dust bunnies* |

And the smilies are back! Sorry it took me so long to fix them (and those of you who don't use Internet Explorer never had a problem). There were several fixes offered on the Support Board and the first few I tried didn't help. It's apparently a glitch caused by something in IE 8.
