Okay... so I don't know how many of y'all are interested in Bones, but I'm a big fan so here we are! Personally just getting the chance to drool over David Boreanaz and dream of looking a thing like Emily Deschanel is enough for me!!! Hehehe. So anyways... this is the place for the chat about Bones... please join me and stay awhile

I really like the show...the characters have good relationships and are so funny.. ;D Bones is so naive when it comes to relationships. It's like Booth is having to teach her...

Yeah... it is funny when Booth tries to guide her "heart" along! Of course, I think they are both smarter than the writers sometimes give them credit for!

It's about a forensic anthropologist (Bones, whose actual name is Dr. Temperance Brennan) and an FBI agent (Booth, Seeley Booth - just had to pull a Bond moment there) who have been teamed up together to solve crimes... basically the crimes that no one else can. Booth is basically the heart-side of the equation, using his gut and instincts to guide them along, though he's super intelligent too (this is sometimes overlooked by Bones and definitely by the writers!). Bones is more the head-side of the partnership, relying on science and data to solve the "whodunnits", though Booth has been helping her to grow her heart throughout their time together (something else the writers tend to underestimate!). Though reluctant initially, both partners have come to rely on (and LOVE - let's just say it folks, cause you know it's true!) one another. The rest of the cast is also amusing and add a TON to the show. Hodgins is the "slime guy" (basically a trace analyst), Angela is a forensic artist (and Bones best friend, second to Booth), Dr. Sweets (I kid you not) is the partner's psychologist/therapist who helps them with profiling and two other minor characters are Cam (Bones' boss) and Dr. Zack Addy (who they discovered to be a criminal at the end of last season ). Bones is moving nights for '09 and can now be seen on Thursday nights at 8PM on Fox. I HIGHLY recommend it... it's fun!

What a nice change of pace to have the gal be the Brains and the guy be the Heart! And what is it about Trace techs being named Hodg-something? ;D
Ever since they moved Without A Trace to Tuesdays, I haven't been turning on the TV on Thursdays. Looks like now I'll have a reason -- thanks for the heads up!

Who knows why the trace guys on two shows are named Hodg-something... conspiracy, maybe? Now for a mini-rant... ARGH!!! I entirely understand that President's should be allowed to make farewell addresses, even if I don't want to hear them... but did it seriously have to be scheduled when we were due for the first Bones episode in a L-O-N-G time?!?!?!??!?!? Now, of course, we will be getting two episodes next week, BUT I have been looking forward to this week forever and now I have to wait even longer!!!!!!!! rrrrrrrrr.

If I read the schedule correctly, the Pres (we've only got one at a time, you know) is only going to speak for about 15 minutes. So you might want to tune in anyway, think of it as either Witnessing A Bit of History or as an uncannily accurate political satire (depending on your political beliefs).
