I'm starting three threads/polls here in Fred about whether we want a chat room. The polls are 1) Do we want one? (I know some folks fill their chatting needs via MSN etc., so maybe there's no demand) and 2) where? (the Proboards chat, a Chatzy room, something else). The thread is so people can say when they'd be likely to visit a chat room; your opinion might depend on who/how many others are likely to show up when you're there.

The results are hidden for now so no one will be influenced by how others are voting -- they will be Revealed when the voting's done. ;D The polls will be open for 10 days, and you can retract your vote and revote in case you change your mind. And feel free to post comments, you might have thought of reasons pro or con that didn't occur to someone else!
