I'm going to have to send you a pack of sticky notes, so you can write all your passwords on them and stick them on your computer monitor like everybody else does. Or maybe we can get together by e-mail and figure out some passwords you can remember. That ham of yours is making me hungry, and I've just finished dinner. No wonder you're tempted! I don't suppose it would do any good to put some of it in a nice, low-calorie bean soup? You get the taste of the ham but it doesn't go right to your hips. I'm with you on the weight-loss thing, I've gained a lot since I broke my foot -- it's hard to get any exercise when you can't stand or walk any more than you absolutely have to. I'm thinking about putting on some good headbanger music and rolling around on the floor If I can't dance standing up.... Ooo, I'll have to check out your Facebook page! Might take me a while, I'm supposed to spend a ridiculous amount of time wiggling my foot every night (very careful wiggles, that physical therapy stuff, but that's what it boils down to), so my free time is kinda limited during the week. But there's always the weekend!

man i have been so horrible. sorry i haven't been around. I'm always so tired and lazy. i turn on the TV, fix dinner and collapse. haven't seen or heard much from the boys. last i heard they were in Vegas visiting friends. they forgot about gay days at Disney this year. or if they came they didn't call me. i had fun today! yesterday James and i had a flat tire on our way to the bank. he changed the tire. shock i didn't know he knew how. then i drove Ty to work with the donut tire this morning and was going to get a new tire so i ran by the house to get the credit card i use for tires etc as i have 6 months to pay with no interest. went out to leave and there was another tire real low on air. so i called AAA and he came out and added air and followed me to the tire company about 5 miles away after telling me all 3 tires had natural splits on them. i saw what he meant at the tire co so i replaced all 3. sigh $400 almost. but i feel safer. also i didn't realize how much better the car would drive. so on the way to work i stopped at the oil change place as it was about 2 or 3 months late being done. that ended up over $100 so i blew $500 in 2 hours. but mercy it rides better. then i went to work. uck!~!!!! i sometimes hate work. my knees have been feeling better as i found some ointment, activon, that i roll on the knees. boy it has been helping. maybe the dry, hot, humid weather helps too. tried sticky notes and still couldn't remember which was which.LOL!! I'm so excited i started off at 206 lbs again and now today I'm at 197.8 so it is going so slow but i weighted 198 for a week so as long as it's steady and slow i don't care. the weight gain appears to have ruined my vision again so i want to lose and hold it off this time. i do have some ham left in the freezer for bean soup, but haven't had a craving for it yet. I've been eating alto of vegety burgers. there is a yummy mushroom one that i love. but i have a package of each of them and i eat them at least twice a week. sometimes more if others are dieting and not going to subway for $5 subs. when i get those i eat it 2 days for lunch. so that's not too bad. diamond was just here visiting me wanting me to stop and play with him. so i had to give him a rub. now he is bugging H. i haven't been to face book in so long. now H is behind the monitor so Diamond can't reach him. they are so much fun. do you drive? it must be rough with your foot. is it getting any better?lordy i hope so cause it's bad enough have knees that hurt but i can usually walk. if i felt better and would get out with the puppy on leash and either a big stick or the gun i would lose weight alot faster. hehehe the gun part is a joke. my concealed permit has run out and i don't have the $250 or so to get it renewed right now. now i am paying for tires ughhhhhhh!!!! well i guess I'd better go and fix something to eat. i know the animals want some chicken as they like the cheap sliced chicken I've been buying at walmarts. at least they help me eat it up fast as i hate it back to smoked turkey. so funny. the desk my computer is on has a couple shelves on the side and H always laid there while i typed but lately he is getting tooooooo big for the shelf. now he is half under and thinks i can't see him.. so cute,, later kiddo jeanne

I hear ya about getting home too pooped to type -- there's a lot of office politics going on at work and my foot has been protesting about the new exercises, so I've been too cranky to say anything for a while even when I had the energy. The office politics should die down in about a month, when TPTB announce how they're going to reorganize the place -- some folks are going to get promoted, some will be given new jobs, some will be looking for work, and we don't know who. My job is safe, but I'll have to pay attention to the opinions of someone in a new "oversight" position. One candidate for the oversight position has objected to the design of my project because "we've never done it that way before, so we shouldn't do it that way now" -- which is a bit daunting, since the entire reason for my project is that "the way we've been doing it" hasn't been working. The other candidate is one of the people who proposed my project and doesn't think I'm an incompetent fool, so I'm really hoping he gets the job. Ah well, I'll get paid either way. But it will be a lot more satisfying to work on something worth doing, instead of churning out useless reports. On a happier subject, one of my tomato plants has a tomato on it! One lonely itty bitty green tomato! It's going to be an only child for a while, because there are no flowers on either plant. But I'm going to give them some low nitrogen fertilizer to try and goose them a little, and one tomato is more than I expected to get out of this deal, so I'm excited. It doesn't take much, does it? If you have any words of wisdom, tomato-wise, my ears are open!

hey good luck with the tomato. when i am taking the time to mess with tomatoes i usually spray them with a liquid fertilizer every week or two. my only bush has been looking real rough. all the flowers died and bush looks sick. i think it was a mistake to plant it in the bathtub i have in the back yard. i plan to plant a couple bushes up by the house next summer. they won't get as hot there i hope.
darn it i was hoping your foot would be feeling better by now. this horrible weather we have been having rain, rain, rain. sure doesn't help my knees but what the hey i've lived with this for so many years i'm about used to it now.
i watched the 2 yorkies again about a week ago for 6 days as Charles the 2nd's girlfriend had knee surgery. she has about 6 holes.yuck...she was in puerta rico and he flew down to help her. i refused money and charles showed up last saturday and swept and mopped my house. at least the main rooms. lordy it was wonderful.
i don't even feel like talking about my job today as it was a trip.. last i heard the boys are in colorado. jake owns a real nice home there. his mom and her boyfriend live there so it's not empty and they have a real cheap place to live. jake's mom also had surgery early in may. a female thingy maybe cancer but i'm not sure. i felt like that was what shelly was telling me without telling me.
well gotta go as i am very tired and want to sleep early but ncis is a rerun but i guess i'll stare at it. i was up when csi m came on last nite but so tired i couldn't stay awake. all i did this 3 day week end was sleep. later kiddo jeanne

Woof! I hear ya about being pooped, that stress does take it out of ya. Maybe we both need to start meditating or doing yoga or something. There's a swimming pool in my apartment complex, and I've used it a couple times and it feels WONDERFUL! All those achy joints and muscles are delighted at not having to lug me around for an hour or so. And judging by which muscles are sore the next day, I'm getting quite a workout without noticing it. That's my kind of exercise program! This is one of my "flex time" weeks at work, so I worked lo-o-ong hours Monday-Thursday and have today (Friday) off, which is why I'm finally here. It was a good week, even though it tired me out. The "we can't do anything we haven't done before" woman didn't get the job, and when they do hire someone, she'll have no say at all about my projects. I do feel some sympathy for her -- her current job is to make people do certain things, but she has no way to pressure them -- all the responsibility, no authority, a good recipe for hell. But she's in a serious snit fit and seems to blame me for her not getting the job, even though no one asked my opinion on it -- she's started saying "No, you're wrong!" to everything I say, which kind of makes my sympathy evaporate. It also isn't doing her reputation any good, since she's saying things in meetings like "No! You can't have any results to report!" and then I hand them out, which makes her look like an idiot. And then she claimed my figures didn't match a report from another department, and I had to point out that the other report didn't give any figures on those things, which is why I was doing this in the first place. Ah, well, she'll probably calm down in a couple of months when the Big Change is over and we've had some time to get used to it. My tomato is still on the vine, getting greener and bigger every day, and unmolested by squirrels and rabbits so far. And the other plant has flowers! This is amazing, because I usually kill any poor plant that's in my care, no matter how hard I try to take good care of it. I gave them some fertilizer that you sprinkle on the dirt, and they seem to like it - that was right before the flowers showed up. Do you know if you can give them too much? I'm not planning to pour pounds of it on, but am nervous about whether a sprinkle every week would build up and choke them. The foot is slowly getting better and seems to like swimming a LOT -- it aches like crazy for a couple of days after, but then aches a lot less than before I went swimming. That sounds like Getting Stronger to me, and I plan to do as much swimming as I can fit in! Probably won't be able to wear sandals this summer, but I'm hoping it will be healed by the time snow flies. Glad to hear Shelly & Jake are still having fun. I'm amazed that your bathtub tomato isn't doing well, I thought they loved sun and heat. (Which might explain why I kill off so many plants. ) Are you giving it gallons of water? My sis says they're thirsty critters. What did Diamond think of the Yorkie guests? Was he glad of the company, or mad at the intruders? Did the cats hide? Hope your aches are better and work is going more smoothly. If not, that's a good excuse to play with your pets even more than usual -- you'll all feel better. Hang in there, kiddo!

hey glad the leg feels better after a swim. i need to go to the y and use the pool. but i'm so lazy.
today we shut the office at lunch and went to a neat chinese restraunt. i ate way too much as usual but we plan to start a diet tomorrow and everyone loves that place and i had never been. if i'm lucky i won't eat supper. big chance of that. LOL
diamond hasn't been a happy pup this last week as he had to go to the vet saturday. he's allergic to something. we don't have a clue about what it is. so we are just treating it in general. pills, liquid benedrill and oatmeal baths every 3 days. seems to be feeling better now thank goodness. he loves the pills as i dip them in peanut butter.. yum..
if somthing is spelled wrong please forgive as i don't have glasses on.
yes you can put a little bit of dry fertilizer on each week as long as it is watered in real good. my baby tomato plant looks horrible. i may have watered it too much.
i was watching an exersize show sunday morning and it was for old broads like me. wow was i sore the next day or so. i didn't do much either. it was an old guy who must be 80 at least named jack lalane. we used to do the exersizes with his show 30 or 50 years ago and wish i had lept it up. geeeesssss i was skinny then.
did you watch the new show on tnt last night. crap i forgot the name of it. rossoli and L something. i was so excited when i realized the L girl is kate from ncis several years ago. she got shot so Ziva could join the cast. the angie from law and order is rossoli. the bad man was a sereal killer on csi vegas when the black dude that i like and can't remember much of his name Laurence Fish something joined csi vegas. the angie's ex partner is an old man i have seen on a couple shows before. i was so tired that i saw it all but man i like the show. it was after the new season of the closer. that was okay too. so anyway tonight i will be going to bed early.
i went and gave a sample of blood for labs today. i haven't been and had it done for 8 or 10 months and i have been having alittle chest pain so i'll see the doctor in a few days. dr seems to think it is angina. nothing bad but needed it checked. maybe that's why i'm so tired all the time lately. also lost 9 lb and keep gaining and losing it over and over. sick of it.
i want to go fishing. my friend barb and i are thinking about taking 2 of her grandchildren over to the coast in a couple weeks to fish. their dad has a boat but i can't get in or out easy and i don't care much for the father. i'm better off staying away from him. barb know's how i feel.
oh well i gotta go as jeopary is about to start. and it's about time to dose the poor pup.. later kiddo jeanne

So, did you get to go fishing? (Which reminds me, the CSI black dude is Laurence Fishburne.) Did you get washed away by Hurricane Bonnie? Do you have angina? Is Diamond still itchy? Are you still exercising with Jack LaLanne? I love that guy! Sorry I'm so slow at replying. The office politics continue at high speed, and I was on flextime last week so it was basically work-and-sleep-and-work-again -- and then I felt so pooped by my Friday off I was too grumpy to be any fun for a couple days, mostly because of the office politics. (There are big changes happening in how the place is organized, and some people are demanding that they should be the boss on certain projects now because they're Important People. They weren't in charge before because they have no idea how to make good decisions about the projects, and the projects aren't part of the other changes, but they're taking advantage of the general confusion to argue that it's better to have an Important-But-Clueless Person in charge than a lower-status competent person in charge. Sadly, they are being taken seriously.) On a happier note, my Tomato is ripening and might be ready for chomping today! I plan to eat it all by itself and savor it without any other food or flavors to distract me. It's been a nervous few days while it turned red, worrying that a bunny or squirrel would beat me to it! Or that it would get blown away in the thunderstorms and tornadoes that have been passing through. Now all I have to do is remember how to tell when it's ripe.... I figure when it's red, not rock hard, and smells like TOMATO, it will be time. And there are a bunch of little green ones coming along, most of them higher on the plants and less vulnerable to critters, so I'm bound to get to eat at least a few. But this one is My First Tomato, so it's special. Now all I have to do is remember to water and fertilize them... I'm also trying to get up enough courage to repot some of the plants that my sister gave me -- when one of her plants gets ugly, she can't bear to throw it out, so she gives it to me, confident that I'll kill it. And she's usually right. But they've been loving it out on my patio and went and grew instead of wilting, so much that they're tipping over in the wind because they have lots of leaves on top and just a little dirt on the bottom to weigh them down. I've been trying to get to it for weeks, but it's been raining so much that they've been soggy every time I've been in the mood. However, it's been dry for almost 36 hours and I think Today Will Be The Day. Wish me (and them) luck!

OMG HAVE I HAD A FEW horrible weks now. my finances have been in the dumper. today i managed to get the money to catch up. i hated being behind. now i can breath again. i was just blowing too much money. then the huge yearly bills hit and i wasn't expecting them to be so high. yuck!!!!
our company owner went on vacation this week and it has been busy but alot calmer without him standing over your shoulder.
how was the tomato? i have found a vegy store that has real good tomatoes. yum i love tomato sandwiches. they are good for my diet. i weighted this morning and now i am down to 195 lbs. i am trying to get down to around 150. someday. my bush is dead. in the fall i think i will try planting a couple bush against the house and not in the bath tub as it is just too hot.
tornades, ushhhh that sounds bad. usually we don't get them here. i have been watching the weather up your way. it has been nasty.
well i can truely say i'm trying to feel better and i have been eatting less and all i want right now is ice cream. LOL not allowed. talk at you later. waiting for a call from shelly as he called wile i was at work i haven't heard from them in ages. at least 6 weeks. well gotta go. i will try to come around more often..jeanne
i never got to go fishing but decided to wait until it gets a little cooler. say october. lol much too miserible now outside.
that storm was a laugh. not even a wimper of wind here. some rain. but that was all. we had more rain today than that caused.
no angina and we haven't figured out what it was. better now. now i'm playing games with my drug plan. Doc is ordering my 2 most expensive pill double strength and i am cutting them in half. i just pray i remember to do it or i may make myself sicker.
poor diamond keeps getting bumps and when he goes out i have to spray him with flea spray so he doesn't get bit. also he doesn't like all the baths he has been getting..
oh man i hurt so bad after the exersizes that i'm afraid to do more. do you realize how old jack lalanne is? reql old...
i hate office politices. at least with only 7of us working there it isn't so bad.

The tomato was absolutely scrumptious! Warm from the sun, naturally salty, super-tomatoey...totally unrelated to those round red things you buy in the supermarket, even if they are labeled "vine-ripened." I ate it like an apple, standing over the sink to catch the drips, with nothing on it. YUM! There's about a dozen more green ones on the way, and they're big enough that they should easily get ripe before the first frost hits in September or October. Next year, I think I'll try to start seeds or get little plants earlier so they maybe start producing in July instead of August. Listen to that, I'm sounding like a gardener -- talking about next year already. Glad to hear your finances and work are a little easier -- it's the pits to be worried paying for stuff you really need. (Been there, done that, hated it.) And even if you have people who will help you out, it's a pain to be beholden. So, you're sore at Jack La Lanne? His web page says he was born September 26, 1914, so he's what, almost 94? I guess he must be doing something right, if he's still jumping around at that age. If it makes you feel any better, I recently set my backpack on a chair and moved away to get something to put in it, and the backpack tilted forward and then did a fast 360-degree flip and landed perfectly right side up; the pockets were all open and it didn't even spill anything. It was beautiful, but sheesh -- an inanimate object is more athletic than I am! So it's not too surprising that I'm sore for a day or two after I go swimming. But I also feel better -- sore, but less dragged out and tired of the world -- so I've been keeping at it. I hate to admit it, but there might be something to this "exercise is good for you" thing. No dramatic front-flips-from-a-chair in my future -- at least, not intentionally -- but I hope to be as physically fit as my furniture before they close the pool for the winter. Congrats on getting below 200 lbs, you've inspired me, furrymom -- I'm going to start a Lose Weight Plan too. I've gotten so fat this last year when I haven't been able to walk places! Sounds like we're both aiming for the same final weight, but I've got further to go than you do. And no, I'm not going to tell you how much! Mostly because I'm scared to step on the scale, if I weight more than 230 I don't want to know. Bought a bunch of veggies for salad, and some big Portabella mushrooms, which taste really "meaty" for a veggie -- when I've got a craving for steak, I panfry one of those suckers and eat it like it was a hamburger. They're kind of pricey compared to carrots and lettuce, but cheaper than meat, so the grocery bill was way lower than usual too. 50 pounds or 500 dollars, I'm going to try to stick with this diet until I lose one or save the other. Not much else going on here to report. Not even any tornadoes, although we are having a thunderstorm at the moment. But that's normal summer weather here, so no big deal. And it means I don't have to water the tomatoes today, they're getting plenty of rain. Hope you're doing better, and Shelly & Jake are having fun, and Diamond is less bumpy, and the cats are being more amusing than annoying. Talk to you later!

hey geeessssss i can't believe it hs been so long since i posted. i decided to give up on tomatoes. at least until next year.lol in fla we usually start tomato seeds in january, inside of course. the we plant outside in late feb with a blanket near by cause last frost is usually in middle to late march. the best plants i ever grew the seeds were planted in the grown in january and i put a huge cooler from work chemicals on top and lifted it to water a couple times and man the plants were beautiful. i can't grow plants in the house now because of the cats and dog. they want to get into everything.
jack lalane was on a public tv show and now he looks 90 odd years old. so the exersize show i saw muct have been real old.
my weight has stayed right between 195 to 197. hummmm i wanta start losing again. the fun of it is my legs and lower back is killing me since thursday. i am using the heating pad but when i walk it starts hurting again. oh dear i meant to take a bottle of pills to walmart today as i wonder if they are really what they say they are. it should be my migraine meds. they are a different color than normal and i don't feel like they help at all so i have been using something else that i don't want to get toooooo used to. may take them back later this afternoon.
i wish they would let me carry a backpack. cause of my knees my doctor won't let me. i also make everything too heavy.
do portabellas really taste like meat? i had a fancy burger one time but it had so much stuff on it i couldn't taste the muchroom. maybe i'll add that to my list and get one and try it.
if i could leave the chinese food alone maybe i could stay on my diet. every friday i get a shrimp meal. lo mein or vegys this week but at least i didn't get an order of fried wings this week. sigh. the shop in the hood makes them so good.
i just got my mail from the box from yesterday and found my electric bill. jame said his was $263. mine is usually about 1/2 of his. i almost had a heartattack and had to put my glasses as i thiught it was $371. thak goodness it was only $121.60. that is still high to me for me and 4 animals. but what the hey it will drop this month as i haven't had it cutting on as much. we have had 97 to 101 this past month. no rain yesterday but 60% chance this afternoon. hope so.
oh i just heard that csi m will be on sundays this year. csi ny on friday. i haven't heard anything about vegas yet.
later kiddo as i have to go lay down again.. later kiddo jeanne
