Ok, this is basically a chatzy storytime fic I decided to do. I got the idea while watching a movie on a boring Saturday afternoon, lol!!
Chapter 1
Dawn and her husband, Johnny Gage, were sitting in their house, enjoying a nice day. Neither one of them had to work today, so they were trying to soak it all up. It was hardly ever they had a chance like this.
“So is there anything special you want to do today?” Johnny asked.
“I think, I think I just wanna relax.”
“Is that even possible?” he said with a small laugh.
“You know, I’m not even sure.”
After she said that, there was a knock at the door. “It’s not.” Johnny replied while glancing at the door.
“Aren’t you going to get it?” Dawn asked her husband.
“I thought you were. You’re the one standing up.”
Dawn took the hand rag that she was holding and threw it at him. “Lazy.” She mumbled as she walked to the door.
“DAWN!!!” one of the two people that were standing there exclaimed.
“NIKI!” Dawn said as she stepped aside to let them in. “Flack.” Dawn said giving him a small nod. “What are you two doing here?”
“Wellllllll you see, I got a call from Caitie, who got a call from Adri, who got a call from Sierra, who got a call from Katie, who got a call from Kelly, who got a call from Caitlin, who got told by Eric that he got a call from Johnny, who said it was your birthday tomorrow!!!”
Dawn, Flack, and Johnny stared blankly at Niki for a brief second. “Wow! I almost forgot!” Dawn said, breaking the silence.
Niki gasped. “You forgot your own birthday?!”
“Surprisingly…. Yes.” Dawn said, laughing a little.
“Well have no fear, the whole gang is here!!” Niki said with a great big smile. “Well, the others are still on their way….”
“Cool cool!!” Dawn said and then looked back at Johnny. “I can’t believe you called all of them to come down, but what about work tomorrow?”
“Honey, don’t worry about a thing. I called Cap and he said he’ll give us tomorrow off too.” He reassured her. “Oh and it wasn’t very hard calling them all. Just call one person and the word spreads faster than the speed of light.”
“Awe thanks!!” Dawn said and then gave him a kiss. Just after that there was another knock at the door. “KATIE!”
“DAWN!” Katie yelled as she stepped in the house.
“KATIE!” Niki yelled. “Hi Matt.”
“NIKI!”
“What no one is excited to see me?” Matt said as he carried his and Katie’s bags in.
“Don’t worry man, all I got was a Flack with a nod.” Flack said to him.
“Well neither Niki, or Katie acknowledged my presence.” Johnny said, pretending he was hurt.
“HI JOHNNY!” a voice at the door said.
“SIERRA!!” Dawn, Katie, and Niki said in unison.
“DAWN KATIE NIKI!!”
“What’s up Billy.” Matt said giving him the ‘man handshake’.
“Well let’s all go to the living room while we wait for the others to get here.” Johnny said, while leading everyone in there.
Matt, Billy, and Flack took all the bags upstairs to the guest rooms, and came back downstairs. In the time it had taken them, Caitie and Ryan walked through the front door.
“CAITIE!!!!” all the girls screamed when they walked into the living room.
“Hey guys, what’s up??” Caitie said as she tossed Matt her bags.
“What the heck?!” Matt said.
“Your supposed to be the big, strong, muscular person aren’t you?”
“Yeah.”
“Well then carry my bags for me.”
Katie reached over and gave Caitie a high five.
“So what are we going to be doing tomorrow?” Caitie asked.
“Good question.” Dawn said looking over at Johnny.
“When everyone gets here, I’ll tell you.” He replied with a smug look on his face.
“Oh no. Johnny has something up his sleeve, and if it turns out like any of his other plans……. We’re screwed.” Niki joked.
Everyone started laughing.
“What’s so funny?” Greg asked as him and Adri came into the living room.
“ADRI!!!!” GREGGO!!!” Dawn, Caitie, Niki, Katie, and Sierra exclaimed.
“Oh sure, he gets all the attention.” Ryan said, rolling his eyes.
“Aw is poor RyRy jealous?” Niki teased.
“No.” he said in a sarcastic tone.
“So what are we doing?” Adri asked.
“Well we’re just waiting for Kelly, Hawkes, Caitlin, and Eric to get here then Johnny boy is going to tell everybody what he has planned for tomorrow.” Katie told her.
“Don’t ever call me Johnny boy again.” Johnny piped up.
“JOHNNY BOY!” Niki yelled at him.
Johnny shot her a death glare.
“Hey guys.” Kelly said as she and Hawkes walked in the house.
“KELLY!!!!!” everyone yelled, including the guys who were mocking the girls.
“Ah, I see the guys are jealous because they’re getting ignored…” Kelly said, giggling a little because she knew she was right.
“For your information…” Ryan started to say but was cut off by Kelly.
“I’m right?”
Ryan was about to answer when Greg spoke up. “Yeah. They’re all mad because I got acknowledged and they didn’t.” Greg told her.
“Shut up.” Matt, Johnny, Billy, Ryan, and Flack whined in unison.
Kelly and the girls busted out laughing. Just about then, the last two people everyone was waiting on got there. “I see you waited on the best for last.” Caitlin joked.
“CAITLIN!!!!” everyone yelled.
“Hey Eric.” Caitie said giving a playful wink.
“Alright Johnny Boy, everyone is here, now spill!!” Katie demanded.
“How about after dinner?” Johnny suggested.
“Look Johnny you better start spilling or I’ll be forced to take necessary actions!” Niki told him.
“Just take a chill pill.”
“I have taken a lot of those today, and they aren’t helping, so started your flabber jabbin’ and tell us what you have planned tomorrow!!!” Dawn ordered.
“Fine. If you must know…”
“DUH!!!” everybody in the house yelled at him.
“Jeez, calm down.” He said throwing his hands up in his defense. “I rented out a cabin in the woods!”
It got so quiet in there, Sierra could’ve sworn she heard crickets. “Like as in, out in the middle of nowhere, with strange little creatures, and bugs??” Niki and Caitie asked.
“Yes.”
“That’s it?” Katie asked. “This is your genius plan?”
“Well kind of. There’s more…..”
Dawn shot Johnny a look. “Oh lord, we’re going to die.” She mumbled.
“It’s not that bad.” Johnny tried reassuring them. “*coughit’sahauntedcabinandwoodscough*”
“Johnny say wha??” Caitlin asked.
“Haunted woods and a cabin??” Sierra asked, obviously not liking where this was going.
“Haunted woods with this guy???” Caitie said pointing to Ryan.
“Heyyyy.” He mocked hurt.
“Come on guys, this will be fun.” Johnny told them all.
“You know what, I think it’s a great idea.” Ryan said, breaking the brief silence.
“Haha RyRy is trying to prove himself as a man.” Niki pointed out and started laughing. Everyone else in the room couldn’t help but laugh too. Well except Ryan, he turned a nice shade of red.
“Well I don’t see any of the other guys stepping up and saying they want to go.” He added, trying to make himself feel better.
“You guys should know me by now, I’m not scared of anything.” Matt said matter-of-factly.
“Suuuuure you are. You are terrified spiders!!” Katie said , making sure everyone knew.
“Shhhhhh.” Matt snapped back.
“So what do you guys say?” Johnny asked.
Ryan was the first to chime in and say he was in, followed by Matt, Eric, Greg, Katie, Sierra, Billy, Hawkes, Flack, Dawn, Caitlin, Adri, Kelly, and Caitie. Everyone turned their attention to Niki who was staring off in her own little world. “Niki, you in?” Flack asked his girlfriend.
“Hmmmmmmm.” She contemplated.
“Come on, you a chicken?” Ryan said, then started clucking like a chicken.
“No! I am far from it!” she said, quickly defending herself. “20 bucks says you get scared before me.”
“Your on.” Ryan said, thinking this was going to be an easy twenty bucks.
Chapter 2 Preview-
The gang heads off to the haunted cabin, it seems fine at first, but will things change very quickly? Will Niki or Ryan lose their bet on the first night there?
