I missed the eppy I was out of town and couldn't find the information channel and George Bush's speech messed the whole schedule up. Yet another reason to dislike him. But since its a Big Episode there will probably be a rerun fairly soon. And as for the ratings they were really through the roof. I read on CSI Files that there were over 24 million people watching.

Well, once again, Laurence Fishburne did really well last night. I cringed as he had to endure all the stuff newbies endure. I especially like how reality hit him dead in the face when he saw that charred body. Kind of different from a nice, clean classroom, huh? Kudos. I'll be watching more.

I like how they made him make mistakes. When I first heard that he would be "taking" Grissom's place I was thinking oh so this guy is just gonna walk right in and be Mr. Know it all. But he defiantly wasn't. I liked it. And him and Hodges.. wow that was funny! I liked it! I'll keep watching

I didn't watch last night but I saw the episode Grissom left in, and like Niki said, he definitely isn't Mr. Know It All, and I like that as well. I think I'm going to try to watch the new episodes as much as I can, (hockey is on now, and my dad just has to watch it when it's on, sometimes I have to miss the CSI's) I like him.

and like Niki said, he definitely isn't Mr. Know It All, and I like that as well. You will like Dr. Langston in this episode too.He makes mistakes but acknowledges and learns from them. He seems to fit well with the team also.

I like him a lot. But I don't like how rude Riley was with him. She's new too and since she has previous experience she should understand he's not gonna get everything right off the bat. I thought she was pretty disrespectful. But I loved the ending when he was practicing collecting prints. I'm glad TPTB aren't throwing him in there and making him the perfect CSI. I also loved the cornmeal timer thing. That was cool.

Funny you mention the cornmeal bomb, Gregrox. Though I'd never seen cornmeal specifically, I'd heard of some of the most bizarre things used to make explosives. That was one major reason they did away with the old C-rations. The Viet Cong were using the old empty cans to make landmines. My husband also explained the fertilizer bomb to me (since I didn't grow up on a farm). I'm glad CSI Vegas is still going strong after all these years.

Oh Riley really bugged me! I was like whoa you are new too! It bothered me how mean she was. I can't wait till she gets emotional attached to a case, I hope Dr. L calls her out on it... though he probably won't... but I will
