They actually hurt right? Does it depend how big they are? If it was little I'd be like "Ouch... AWESOME I just got hit by a tumbleweed!"

I have never seen that much snow, or tumbleweeds before, lol. Here in Tennessee you either see lots of farmland and hills, or you see lots of building and traffic lol. Nothing out of the ordinary lol. Unless your from Canada and you see a tornado.. I guess that's the only thing ya'll could see here that you couldn't see there lol.

Luffy, we're talking big tumbleweeds....BIG!!!!!!!!!!! A little one can reach up to the hood of a car. Matter of fact, I've seen Semi Trucks having to stop to not hit one. If you ever run over a tumbleweed in a car, the engine in your car is screwed. No nicer way of putting that. It really does some damage. Plus if it ever hits you, it's painful a bit. Some..most of them carry stickers in them. So after you get hit, you have stickers all over you. A reaaaaal pain to pull them out. Just don't get them on your arse though And if you're allergic to tumbleweeds and get hit by one, that's not pretty either.

Wow. Those are some dangerous shrubs.
Katie, omg, we're watching videos about tornadoes in Geography and they're so scary! I'd rather have 10 feet of snow every winter than go through a tornado. : (

Wow, cc, no wonder all those cowboys wrote songs about tumbleweeds! (And ignored the rest of the vegetation.) Do you ever get them invading towns, or do they stay out in the brush? I'd think I'd take the tornado, luf -- I am SO tired of shoveling! But then, I've got a sneaking fondness for tornadoes; they're eccentric critters.

It's just scary sitting there trying to imagine going through one

Some will stay out in the open, and then there are those that roll right up to your door or into the middle of traffic CC of the southwest

Go ahead. Laugh at me. I was proven wrong with the weather today. Right after I went bragging how official it was that winter was over, well we went from 65 yesterday to 40 today with a little bit of rain and snow. Nothing stuck though. Now it's sunny, windy, and cold outside

Mirium, you're not affected by that ice line out in the Midwest, are you? It's training over Ohio and Indiana. Not sure about Illinois.
Something tells me I'm going to be doing some overtime. They're already getting power outages. (groans).
I can't complain, though. I've been in ice storms with no power. Not fun at all.
