This one's going to miss me, although my sympathies to all you folks who are getting smacked -- it sounds like a very ugly ice storm. :thbarf_eachother1: And ice is WAY worse than snow.
I'm quite comfortable this week, with single digit temps (Fahrenheit) and a few flurries... :couchhiding:

We got very little snow and most of the schools were closed :smiley-think005: . I'm gonna post some pics later. Maybe there was ice or something, but you'd figure they'd only delay school and not cancel it...

Wow Katie we got more snow than that the other day and they didn't close school here. I guess they're getting used to the snowier winters. *misses the time when there would be an inch of snow on the ground and everything would be shut down for days till the snow melted* Yesterday we must have about 4 or 5 inches... made walking to school ONE EXAM which only took me a little over a half an hour a real pain in the butt. We could have had a lot more though. The storm missed us by not too much. Which means y'all are probably gonna be getting more bad weather soon

Lol Dawn. I hope there won't be any 10 car pile up here. Usually when they mention snow, our grocery stores and gas stations are packed, but last night Murfreesboro seemed like a ghost town . We haven't seen 4 or 5 inches of snow in about 4 or 5 years lol. That sucks you had to walk in that for one exam Rox. And your more than welcome to send some snow this way ;D That was all we got... My neighbor said at about 6:30 it was sleeting so I'm guessing some of the busses were kind of hesitant about getting out, but by the time I woke up which was shortly after 10 most of it was water puddles lol. And I agree with you on the snow lasting more than one or two more days lol. Everytime we get snow, by later the afternoon it's all gone. And by the next day usually the temps are close to 50 or 60 degrees XD

If you really want snow move to Canada. Edmonton or Winnipeg. Stay there for a week maybe and you'll have enough snow to last you a lifetime. I mean even three days in Vancouver when it's snowy is enough to make me never want to see snow again. Ever.

Lol... My dad has been somewhere in Cananda.. not sure where though . I remember he said it was about -40 or -50 and this dude told him he had to make sure every inch of his body was covered or he'd get frostbite.

Well it's been nice and sunny here,in the 50s and 60s, but today they tested the tornado sirens at my school (sirens I never knew we had because they never tested them last year, and they had a sign up saying being tested next Monday, but no test them today and give me heart failure will you). I wonder if geologists and meterologists are predicting something that's going to happen here, something NOT very good either!!!!
